Illustrated by Ryan Hewlett, this unique deck of playing cards is a visual representation of the history of modern art, design, and machine technology.
Each suit in the deck focuses on one of these four moments in art history - the new typography of the Bauhaus era, mid-century book cover design, the late 20th-century silkscreen poster aesthetic, and the contemporary art & design in the age of mobile.
The back design features a minimal x-logo against a bed of orange with thin white borders.
Printed by the US Playing Card Co. on our trademark thin-stock preferred by cardists. Packaged inside a letterpress-printed tuck box.
This product was added to our catalog on Thursday 05 July, 2018.
