Inside a key ring there is a picture of a gentleman with a face-down card in his pocket. The key ring is removed from your keys and handed to your spectator.

A regular deck is shuffled, and the spectator selects a card. The card is turned face-up, let's say it's the 3 of Clubs.

The spectator turns over the key ring and the card in the picture is now the 3 of Clubs.
