A huge effect in a miniature size!

The performer opens a miniature padlock with a key. An elegant chain is then shown to the audience. The lock is snapped closed and is now held in the performer's cupped hand.

Now for the miracle... the end of the chain is slowly lowered into the hand holding the lock...

Upon pulling the chain upward, the lock is now magically seen dangling from the chain. Upon close viewing, the lock is really locked onto the chain! The performer takes the key, opens the lock, and removes the chain from the lock. Lock, chain, and key may be examined.
