About 30 of these book plates were printed for guests who attended Phil Temple's Dante "book party" on October 21, 1991. The Moi-yo Miller and Arturo Montes signatures were obtained on July 24, 1991, and the signatures of "Dolly" Jansen and Marion Trikosko (author of Trouping with Dante) were obtained at the party. Phil Temple also signed the bookplates at the party.
