Effect
A card is selected and placed back into the deck and the deck is shuffled. A rubber band is taken and placed over the cards, and placed on the table. The cards are shown to be secured with the rubber band. The whole pack is then placed inside a box and closed. Wave your hand over the opened box and the selected card slowly rises up out from the deck, penetrating the rubber band in the process. The selected card is returned and the deck examined, still with the rubber band around it.
