Shrinking Wands by Tony Karpinski

The Karpinski Diminishing Wands is a new take on a classic trick that can be used as a utility device over the course of multiple effects. The performer displays a handcrafted hardwood case for a magic wand. Upon opening it, a full-sized wand is revealed. The wand is used for the current effect and is returned to the box; which is placed in view to the side. For the next effect, the box is opened and the wand is removed but it has shrunk to a smaller version of its original size.

The wand is used once more and returned to the box. This magical shrinking continues two more times, revealing a small wand followed by a mini version measuring only a few inches. The wand can be left in this form or transformed back to its original size.
