Umbrella Card Sword by Brad Toulouse-Maple Leaf Magic - Trick

The modern way to perform the classic Card Sword effect!

The performer has a card selected and remembered by the spectator. The card is shuffled back into the deck (shuffling can be performed by spectator if desired).

Next, a closed umbrella is introduced. It is held by the handle in one hand, closed, tip pointing up and towards the audience. The deck of cards is held in the other hand.

The deck is sprung, waterfall style into the air over the umbrella. The umbrella is opened and... lo and behold... the chosen card is impaled on the end of the umbrella!

Working and performance

In addition to the umbrella, you will need a deck of playing cards, as well as a duplicate of one card (your force card).
