In Aztec mythology, Huitzilopochtli is the deity of the sun, and war. Also known as the Turquoise Prince (Xiuhpilli), Huitzilopochtli was represented in Aztec art as either a hummingbird or an Eagle.

The Aztecs worshipped Huitzilopochtli by sacrificing human hearts and blood to ensure that the sun would rise each day. As a god of war, he was also the deity who helped the Aztecs to expand their influence and empire throughout most of modern day Mexico and Central America.

This colorful and intricately hand drawn deck honors ancient Aztec traditions by bringing their past back to the present. Makes a fantastic addition to any card collection and adds an element of interest and design to any card game.
