EVERY version of the "Dance of Death" Playing Card series has COMPLETELY different artwork.
Dance of Death V2 Playing Cards was created based on the famous artist, Hans Holbein the Younger, and continues the series.
The entire deck (fronts, backs, pips, indices and Court cards) is completely custom and drawn by hand using the style, "landscape and genre scenes." This style of work was popular in the XVI century. One of the famous artists and the founder of the time was Peter Bruegel the Elder.
Dance of Death V2 backs feature a 2-way design featuring two bony skeleton hands reaching up from a gnarled thorny vine and meeting just slightly at the fingertips.
The Court cards playfully incorporate a skeleton interacting with figures of the Jack, Queen and King.
