Each face card tells a story. In an ancient Chinese fable, a Dragon had supreme powers. He also had nine decedents who helped him rule the world. However, the Dragon disappeared one day, leaving twelve powerful creatures who claim that they are the Dragon's decedents. Nobody knows which nine of them are truly the Sky Descender.

Some Sky Descenders look evil and powerful, but actually prefer a peaceful life of playing music and reading. Some are capable of everything, but can be absolutely terrified by a fish.
