The "Three Card Monte" has long been a popular scam/game played on the streets of most major cities and featured in movies and on television. It has also become a staple in most magicians' acts. There have been thousands of variations published through the years, as it is one of the few gambling themed routines that can be followed by all audiences.
The most popular of all Monte routines is "Color Monte" which was originally published by Bill Elliott as "3 Card Monkey Business."
Meir Yedid's "Quick Monte" builds on those two routines with a streamlined handling that makes the sequences easy to follow.
The routine begins by showing two black twos and a red queen. The idea is to follow the queen. But as the story unfolds in this five-phase routine, based on the original storyline, the queen does not appear to be on the bottom, top or middle. You then show you are only using three cards and reveal the missing queen's location. As one of the twos is shown, a double or nothing wager is made on the identity of the final card. As a complete surprise the final card reveals the results of the wager.
Comes complete with three specially printed Cheetah Back Jumbo (7" x 4.5") Cards and photo illustrated instructions.
