Statue Vanish (Gimmicks and Online Instructions) by Roy Kueppers - Trick

In 1983 David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty in New York City disappear in front of a Live Audience.

Now, 40 years later, you can make the Statue of Liberty Disappear in front of a Live Audience too by using a 2001 New York State Quarter.

EFFECT STATUE VANISH:

A New York quarter is shown laying on the palm of an open hand (or on a table) etc with the Statue in place. The performer raises his other hand in flat open position and covers the coin as DC did with a curtain. When the hand is moved away, the Statue portion of the coin is completely gone. It can be handed out for complete examination. The coin is then handed back to the performer and once again the coin is covered with the hand. As the hand is removed once again and as miraculously as she disappeared, the Statue reappears.
